We provide various claims administrative services
for matters falling outside of coverage or within
excess by relying on various service providers:
1. Handling Liability and Recovery of damages
from a negligent third party (in Motor and
Non-motor Insurance)
2. Legal Services and Advice.
The key benefit to your insured is that the costs
of engaging the service provider are covered by
Serv-U (see terms of service for certain
limitations).
By providing outstanding results, and handling
the day-to-day claims administration, the
brokerage benefits from improved client
relationships and a reduced administrative
burden.
WHO WE ARE
The initial concept for Serv-u was born back in 2012
after Julie Steyn had spent 25 years in the insurance
industry.
She identified a gap in the service market.
Broker’s require assistance when their insured has limited
cover in-excess claims or, if the Insured would prefer to
claim directly from another insurer to protect their loss
ratio.
Serv-u provides claims assistance and administrative
services – a Value Added Service (VAS) which could be
included in any insurance policy.
Serv-U, through it’s panel of service providers, offers a
variety of legal and recovery/liability solutions.
For a flat monthly fee, your client can ask for assistance and
expertise without incurring further costs.
Serv-U puts you, the Broker, in a position to provide a
service which is exceptional, and beyond expectation –
even in cases where the Insured’s policy may not provide
cover.
