PURPOSE
- This service removes the agitation and stress from the client and Broker when it comes to lodging a motor liability claim against a third party by allowing the team at Serv u to handle all the admin, negotiations/ and dealings with the third party on the client’s behalf, whether the claim is against an individual , company or Insurer.
- Our team has numerous tracing tools to locate third parties (liable party) as in most cases full details are not taken at the scene of the accident.
- We provide guidance as to procedure and requirements.
- We provide expertise when it comes to the merits of an accident and apportionment of liability.

The client does not have to write off monies spent on in excess claims where full or apportioned recovery is possible

PROCESS AND REQUIREMENTS
- We will notify the client on receipt of claim description as to whether the incident is likely to be apportionable (in other words if each party is partly to blame in terms of the law of collisions) then the client can make a decision as to how to proceed.
- We will utilize our suppliers to obtain the necessary information to trace and make contact with the third party
- Once contact is established, we will assist you in lodging your claim against a third party individual or insurer and deal with them directly on your behalf.
- Should the matter be apportionable we can negotiate the best possible settlement on clients behalf, if not satisfied with the offer client can consider our litigation offering
WHAT IS REQUIRED BY THE CLIENT?
- The client will be required to provide us with the necessary documentation to facilitate the process as soon as possible
- The client will need to obtain quotations for repair to quantify their claimed amount
- The client would need to make the vehicle available for inspection/assesment if so required
- The client will be required to sign a mandate authorizing us to act on their behalf
- All monies recovered are paid directly to the clients bank account on acceptance of offer of settlement
COSTINGS
- R20 per vehicle (Personal lines)
R150 Commercial policy (escalating by R50 every
10 vehicles) - updated list of registration numbers monthly
submitted to serve u as confirmation of service
INCLUDED BENEFIT
WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE AT NO FURTHER COST TO THE CLIENT
- In the event of accident which results in injuries claimable from the Road Accident fund
- Serv-u will guide and facilitate your claim being lodged with the Road accident fund.
- Your matter will be handled by an attorney with no legal cost being required upfront
- The matter is handled on a contingency
basis and the attorneys are therefore very
motivated to get you the best possible settlement - This additional service can be considered
priceless in the event of an accident

- Serv-u is not responsible should the client delay in providing required documentation that
